A little History About Dolphin Aviation
Dolphin Aviation is an all-around aviation services company in Sarasota, Florida, with over 50 years of experience.
Dolphin Aviation was established in 1969. Ten years later, Ron Ciaravella acquired the company and partnered with Phillips 66®, making it a branded Phillips 66® dealer.
Ron began his professional aviation career at the age of 19 as a flight instructor at Dolphin Aviation. He grew Dolphin’s size, scope, and services tremendously, tripling the footprint from 7 to 25 acres, multiplying hangar space by a factor of five and quadrupling the number of full-time employees. Ron helped many promising businesses launch and grow successful through creating the Dolphin Aviation Commerce Center.
Today, Dolphin Aviation is home to various businesses such as flight schools; FAA Airman testing services; aircraft sales, maintenance, avionics, detailing services and more. Each day, we continue to seek growth in our aviation services to serve our community better.
